The secrets to supporting your students who have Dyslexia, ADHD and/or ASD

We are really excited to be launching our “The secrets to making your online class more accessible to people who are Neuro-Diverse” Workshop. We really hope you will be joining us.  In this workshop we will introduce you to what Neuro-Diverse actually means and how we can support learners with ADHD, ASD and Dyslexia & Dispraxia and others.  This workshop is for anyone who is teaching, or wants to teach, and has little or no previous experience of teaching students with these conditions.  During this webinar workshop we will look at:

• What is Neuro-Diversity and understanding the traits
• How might Neuro-Diversity impact learning and the challenges?
• Putting things in place ‘Before the Session’
• Practical ways to deliver ‘During the Session’

The workshop will take place via Zoom and during the course you will have 2 tutors Danielle LLoyd and Frances Thapen who will support you.  The session is packed full of practical methods to help you make your online sessions more accessible to people who are neuro-diverse.  The skills you learn will also help many people who do not identify as ADHD or ASD.  You might even learn a bit about your own learning styles……(I know I did!)

There will be a break half way through the course for you to stretch your legs and grab a coffee from your kitchen.

We will be with you each and every step of the way, to answer any questions, queries or concerns that you may have and also to share in your ‘wins’ when you put into practice what you have learnt in this workshop.
