Being able to place ‘Qualified Teacher’ on your website is a proud moment for anyone in the education sector and a seal of approval when it comes to any training and coaching business.
Although it isn’t always essential, having your Level 3 Award makes it easy to work with apprentices and teach in Adult and Further Education organisations. It also gives you that step up and added confidence when working as a private training provider to show that you are qualified and know what you are doing.
Introducing: the TEA Qualified Teacher or Trainer Success Path
The TEA Qualified Teacher or Trainer Success Path gives you the blueprint to becoming a successfully qualified teacher, supporting and developing you on the way.
Covering everything you will need to gain your qualification, from the roles and responsibilities of a teacher, through to the learning environment, how to motivate your students and how to overcome barriers to learning.
Alongside the theoretical side, you will also have a practical, element where you will be observed teaching for 15 minutes in a micro-teach.
Split over five levels; the TEA Qualified Teacher or Trainer Success Path covers the following subject areas with additional online or face to face delivered sessions.
1.
Your Role and Responsibilites
What is your role and what are your responsibilities as a teacher, and what are the boundaries between you and other professionals with which you work?
2.
The Learning Environment
How do you ensure that your students learn in the way they do best and have a safe, supportive and optimal learning environment?
3.
Evaluating Your Practice
This is all about you reflecting back on your Teaching Practice, each and every lesson and looking at the strengths and areas for development so that you improve and develop.
4.
Assessment & Record Keeping
Here we will compare the strengths and limitations of different assessment methods, recognise how to involve learners and others in assessment and how to keep records.
5.
Micro-Teach
Deliver a 15-minute Micro-Teach on your subject specialism, ideally face to face; however, it can be completed online provided there is a clear view of you and your students.

Our Teaching Experience
TEA was launched in 2018 by its founder Danielle Lloyd, after over 25 years in the education and coaching sector. Having coached hundreds of learners as they progress in their careers, Danielle collated the best teaching methods to create the TEA courses, the first of their kind to specifically target adults.
With the support the courses provide and as an accredited centre approved by Ofqual, Danielle and her team work hard to develop and inspire anyone who wishes to start teaching adults.
These qualifications are for those who work or want to work as teachers/trainers in the further education and skills sector, including those who are not in a teaching role or who have just started a teaching role.
